Settings Memory

Rate Hike remembers your settings across power cycles. The following are stored in flash memory and restored on startup:

  • Duration and Regularity strict mode on/off
  • Duration and Regularity strict division values (1–7)
  • All random mode flags (gate length, number of bursts, duration, regularity)

Settings are saved automatically when no clock signal has been received for 2 seconds, so the module never interrupts playback to write to flash.

ADC calibration data is stored separately and persists in the same way — see ADC Calibration.

To reset all settings to default values, press all 4 buttons simultaneously and hold for 3 seconds. All leds will flash 3 times to confirm the reset.
